Threat Intelligence Analyst, Gap
Vanessa Aranda has been at Gap since August 2016, where she initially started in identity and access management, then became a threat intelligence analyst in Gap’s Cyber Defense Center. Aranda’s primary responsibilities include managing github remediation, leading security strategy and training, performing darkweb research, supporting IR, red team, and loss prevention. She is actively involved in gathering cyber threat intelligence (CTI) using internal and external sources to track relevant threat actors, and discover additional methods of attack, provide IOCs and work with necessary teams to contain/eradicate/remediate, collect, organize and analyze gathered CTI to determine trends in organizational environments and predict for potential targeting while also progressing internal intel development processes, procedures, and techniques.
